Random thought: Canva has really handicapped my design skills. It's a great resource, but nothing beats starting up Illustrator with a blank artboard for a true designer. I literally stared at my inspiration and artboard for 5 minutes before my juices started to flow and the navigation started coming back to me. There are no shortcuts to designing on this side.
It feels good to be back designing, though. Being creative gives me so much joy. I'm going to try to spend every day this week in the lab. 🤞🏾
