Some seasons feel busier than others, and this fall has definitely been one of them. Between juggling work, toddler routines, traveling, and everything in between, I’ve been leaning on a few key things that make everyday life just a little easier. These aren’t just cute finds — they’re my mom life essentials for fall that actually make a difference in my day.
1. 2-in-1 Steamer & Iron
Nothing tests your patience like trying to look put-together when you’re already running late. This 2-in-1 Steamer & Iron heats up fast and smooths everything from jeans to blouses without the bulky ironing board. It’s compact, lightweight, and perfect for travel or quick touch-ups before heading out the door.
2. Child Safety Door Knob Cover
When you have a curious toddler, boundaries matter. These Child Safety Door Knob Covers help keep little hands out of places they shouldn’t be — like the laundry room or pantry. They blend right in and are surprisingly sturdy (G tested them for me).
3. Toniebox
The Toniebox might be one of my favorite parenting hacks this year. If you don’t have one, use the link and buy it right now. It gives G screen-free entertainment that keeps him engaged while I get things done (like riding my Peloton). He loves picking his little characters, and I love the built-in volume control and easy setup.
4. Faucet Extender
This Faucet Extender is such a simple fix but makes washing hands so much easier for toddlers. It’s an easy win for toddler independence — G can reach the sink without me constantly lifting him, which also saves my back.
5. 32 oz Insulated Stainless Steel Sports Water Bottle
If I’m not hydrated, I’m dragging. I found this water bottle when I started the 75 Medium challenge and committed to drinking 60 oz of water a day. It’s crazy to think a water bottle changed the game, but it did! This 32 oz Insulated Stainless Steel Water Bottle keeps water cold all day and actually reminds me to drink it. It fits perfectly in my refrigerator’s water dispenser, is easy to clean, and comes with two lids. Highly recommend.
6. Electric Spin Scrubber
Cleaning is not my favorite, but this Electric Spin Scrubber makes deep cleaning way faster. It’s cordless, has multiple brush heads, and works wonders on showers, tubs, and even baseboards. It’s giving back-friendly mom energy.
7. Kids Step Stool
This Kids Step Stool stays in our bathroom so G can brush his teeth and wash his hands “all by myself.” It’s sturdy, lightweight, and one of those things you don’t realize you need until you have it.
8. Potty Hook
A total game-changer during potty training — this Potty Hook keeps the seat off the floor and out of sight when it’s not in use. It’s one of those clever little things that makes the bathroom feel clean again.
9. Kids Acrylic Floating Bookshelves
These Acrylic Floating Bookshelves make G’s books look like part of the décor. I have them all over my house — in the living room, my office, and G’s room. They’re sleek, minimal, and go with almost any style of décor. I especially love rotating his seasonal books for fall, and the clear design keeps his space bright and uncluttered.
10. Soft Potty Seat
Finally, this Soft Potty Seat is comfortable, easy to clean, and fits securely on our toilet. It’s perfect for toddlers who are still learning and need a little extra confidence.
Wrapping It Up: My Favorite Mom Life Essentials for Fall
Fall always feels like a fresh start — even in the middle of chaos. These little upgrades make my solo mom life smoother, simpler, and honestly a lot less stressful. Whether it’s the Toniebox that gives me a moment of peace or the spin scrubber that keeps things sparkling, every item earns its spot on this list.
I can’t wait to see what you buy!
